LIVING IN KIRKWOOD, MISSOURI

Kirkwood offers something a little different from many St. Louis County communities. It has an established residential feel while also having a downtown district where restaurants, shops, businesses and community activities are concentrated.

If you're considering Kirkwood, you'll find a community with its own identity while still having convenient access to the rest of the St. Louis area.

DOWNTOWN KIRKWOOD & LOCAL LIFE

Downtown Kirkwood is one of the features that helps give the community its character. The area offers locally owned shops, restaurants, coffee spots and businesses within a walkable district.

The historic Kirkwood Train Station is another recognizable part of downtown, while the Kirkwood Farmers' Market adds to the local atmosphere. Parks, community events and nearby attractions provide additional options for getting out and exploring the area.

HOMES IN KIRKWOOD

Housing in Kirkwood isn't limited to one particular style. Buyers may encounter older homes with plenty of character, traditional single-family properties, renovated homes, condos, townhomes and newer construction depending on the location and price range.

That variety also means two homes relatively close to one another can offer very different features, lot sizes and price points.

LOCATION & GETTING AROUND

Kirkwood's location provides access to major roads and surrounding St. Louis County communities. Depending on where you work and spend your time, location within Kirkwood itself can also make a difference.

That's why I like to look beyond the listing photos and help buyers consider the complete picture—home, location, commute, amenities and budget.

THINKING ABOUT BUYING IN KIRKWOOD?

If Kirkwood is on your list, I can help you compare available homes, understand current market conditions and determine whether the community fits what you're looking for.

And if you're still deciding between Kirkwood and another St. Louis-area community, we can compare those options before narrowing your home search.
