LIVING IN ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI
If you're thinking about making a move to St. Charles, there's a lot more to consider than just finding the right house. Where you live affects your commute, the places you shop and eat, what you do on the weekends, and ultimately how much you enjoy calling an area home.
St. Charles offers a mix of established neighborhoods, newer developments, historic areas, shopping, parks and easy access to much of the St. Louis region. Whether you're already local or relocating to the area, the goal of this guide is to give you a better starting point for your home search.
HOUSING IN ST. CHARLES
One thing buyers will notice is that St. Charles offers a pretty wide variety of homes. Depending on the area and your budget, you'll find everything from older homes with character to subdivisions, townhomes, condos and newer construction.
Instead of starting with a huge list of homes, I recommend starting with the things that matter most to you: price range, commute, space, home style and the areas you want to be close to. From there, we can narrow the search down.
GETTING AROUND
St. Charles provides convenient access to major routes including I-70, Highway 364 and Highway 94, making it possible to reach different parts of St. Charles County and the greater St. Louis area.
If your commute is important, that's something we should factor into your home search from the beginning—not after you find a house you love.
THINGS TO DO
St. Charles has plenty to offer outside of housing. Historic Main Street is one of the area's most recognizable destinations, with restaurants, shops and events throughout the year.
You'll also find parks, trails, entertainment, shopping and access to the Missouri River area. And because St. Charles sits within the larger metro area, you're still within reach of everything St. Louis has to offer.
FINDING THE RIGHT AREA FOR YOU
There isn't one neighborhood that's right for everybody.
Some buyers want newer construction. Others care more about yard space, an established neighborhood, proximity to work or being close to restaurants and entertainment.
That's where working with someone who understands the area can make the search much easier. Tell me what you're looking for, and I'll help you narrow down the areas and homes that actually fit.
